Poseidon | Sort Candle

$34.00 USD

Ancient Greece, never a dull moment.  I was purchasing some necessities this morning, when a local woman pulled a small vial from her smock, telling me its contents were from Atlantis.  I opened the vial, and the most intriguing aquatic scent escaped.  It was slightly peppery, with hints of leather, and sandalwood too.  According to her, it was created for Poseidon’s sons, the rulers of Atlantis.  Now I find myself on what most would call a fool’s errand – finding undeniable evidence of the lost civilization.

Your foolish friend,

Scent History

Son of Cronus and Rhea, Poseidon helped Zeus overthrow the Titans to become the Greek God of the sea. Poseidon is often depicted with his trident, which he uses to control the waters, and cause earthquakes. Even though he was thought to be ill-tempered and vengeful, sailors would often pray to him for safe passage.
