An Olfactory Journey Through Time
Our Newest Scent
Amande
Almonds were harvested in the Provence region of France dating back to the 16th century, and by the 1800’s, the region was known for supplying fruits and nuts to most of Europe. Sadly, a frost in the mid-1900’s badly damaged almond production in France, so California became the largest exporter of almonds around the world. But with French luxury brands using almonds in bath and body products, the almond industry has been steadily increasing in France over the last couple of decades.
In blending this scent, we wanted to capture the essence of Provence in a candle. While almond is the standout note, you will notice hints of lavender, tonka bean, and grounding woodsy notes that complement the almond in a most delightful way.
