Candle Care and Information
We want you to maximize your candle experience, so please follow these simple rules when using our candles.
➊ Prior to the first burn, trim your wick to ¼ of an inch, this will ensure a cleaner, smoke free burn.
➋ During your first burn, allow the entire surface of the wax to melt. This usually takes 1-4 hours, depending on the size of your candle. We recommend doing this, so the candle won’t tunnel during future burns.
➌ Always trim your wick between burns.
➍ Do not leave candle unattended.
➎ Once you’ve burned your candle to ¼ of inch of wax remaining, it’s time to clean out your vessel, and use it for something else. Get creative, tag us with pictures of your upcycled candle vessel on Instagram.
Quick Vessel Cleaning Tip: Putting the vessel in the freezer for a little while will harden up the wax enough to make it easier to pop out.
All our items are sourced directly from suppliers in the US, this includes everything from our candle wicks to our fragrance oils, and packaging. Our glass vessels and home fragrance bottles are sourced locally as well. Our Artifact Collection vessels are designed, and handmade by us.
Every scent is custom blended in-house to create a luxury olfactory experience. As you burn our candles, or spray our home fragrance, you’ll pick up a variety of complex notes as the scent moves through the air.
More about our scents – we don’t use essential oils because they aren’t meant to be burned and can ignite. All fragrance oils are 100% phthalate free. No carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, or acute toxins.
