Candle Care

We want you to maximize your candle experience, so please follow these simple rules when using our candles.

• Prior to the first burn, trim your wick to ¼ of an inch, this will ensure a cleaner, smoke free burn.
• During your first burn, allow the entire surface of the wax to melt.  This usually takes 2-4 hours, depending on the size of your candle.  We recommend doing this, so the candle won’t tunnel during future burns.
• Always trim your wick between burns.
• Do not leave your candle unattended.
• Once you’ve burned your candle to ¼ of inch of wax remaining, it’s time to clean out your vessel, and use it for something else.  Get creative, tag us with pictures of your upcycled candle vessel on Instagram.

*Quick Vessel Cleaning Tip* Putting the vessel in the freezer for a little while will harden up the wax enough to make it easier to pop out.
