I woke up this morning reinvigorated and so ready to get my hands dirty once more. Normally, I would be rather irritated about the malfunctioning mosquito nets, and my coffee canteen running dry, but the scent of a dig site has me positively giddy. There is something about the smell of freshly turned earth meeting the early morning air – it’s indescribable. Hopefully, we’re on our way to finding exactly what we’re looking for, I do intend to keep you posted, old friend.
