Ancient Egypt – the place that’s captured the hearts of archaeologists around the world, mine included. Of all the times and places, I’ve traveled, I find this place and its people most intriguing – their attention to detail, their love of life, and respect for death. I hope you’ll enjoy the vial of perfume accompanying this letter, I found the scent quite captivating, with its blend of myrrh, rose, and cardamom.
Your dearest friend,
A

Scent History
The second confirmed female ruler of Egypt, Hatshepsut ruled as Queen Regent then Queen during the Eighteenth Dynasty. Ruling for over twenty years, she oversaw several building projects, such as the Mortuary Temple at Deir el-Bahri, and the Red Chapel in Karnak. She’s also credited with reestablishing trade routes with the Land of Punt, which brought gold, frankincense, and myrrh back to Egypt.
