Gryphon | Anubis

History of the gryphon is long and expansive, with depictions and writings going back to ancient cultures, such as the Assyrians, Egyptians, Greeks, and Persians.  From Medieval times onward, the gryphon has been used on coat of arms from Poland to the United Kingdom, as well as on school mascots, and in modern film.
