A creature that can strike both fear and wonder into the heart of man, the dragon’s history goes back to ancient civilizations all around the globe.  In some histories the dragon represents strength, and good fortune, while other depictions see it as a serpent-like creature who is evil.  The oldest depiction of the dragon we know today was an illustration from 1260 AD.
