I apologize that it’s taken me so long to write, but I’ve been so busy retracing the history of Roman aqueducts, that I just haven’t put pen to paper until now. Currently, I’m occupied with Aqua Virgo since I’ve heard tales of its restorative capabilities. While it’s the most delicious water I’ve tasted, I can’t speak to its abilities beyond hydration, but I will say the aqueduct itself is quite the engineering marvel. I’ll have to bring back some water from one of the fountains, so you can taste it for yourself.
Yours truly,
A

Scent History
Completed in 19BC by Marcus Agrippa, Aqua Virgo was the sixth aqueduct built to supply ancient Rome with water. Originally, it was built to supply the Baths of Agrippa, the first public bathhouse in Rome. It’s believed that its name came from a young girl who led soldiers to the spring that was used to supply the aqueduct. This aqueduct still supplies many well-known fountains today, meaning it’s been in use for over 2000 years.
